Mahindra Scorpio N sets a new record Clocks over 25,000 bookings within 1 minute

The Mahindra Scorpio N received 100,000 bookings within 30 minutes of the reservation period starting at 11:00 am today, corresponding to an ex-showroom value of 18,000 crores/USD 2.3 billion for Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., the pioneers of the SUV market in India.

Potential customers vented their anger and frustration on Mahindra’s social media account and also targeted Anand G. Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group, alleging that the company is taking its customers “for a ride” because they were unable to take advantage of the “introductory pricing” due to the technical issue that followed the booking rush.

Customers have been incredibly enthusiastic about the All-New Scorpio-N; within one minute of accepting reservations, the Scorpio-N recorded 25,000 bookings.
