Yamaha has made a lot of money off of its XMax line of scooters, especially in Europe. So far, the company has sold more than 4.5 million of these scooters on the continent, which is an interesting fact. The Standard and Tech Max versions of the XMax 300 are available, and the Tech Max version is now more tech-savvy. It has a 4.2-inch colour TFT screen that sits on top of a 3.2-inch LCD screen. Once the Yamaha MyRide app is installed on the rider’s phone and the TFT is connected to it, it will show SMS and email alerts. It also lets you see and control how music works. This TFT also works with the Garmin StreetCross app for phones, which lets you use the screen to navigate. The base model, on the other hand, only has an LCD dashboard, but it can connect to Bluetooth.

A new leather seat with gold stitching, footplates, and mirrors made of aluminium are also added to the Tech Max trim. Yamaha has also changed the way the XMax 300 looks by giving it a sharper, more aggressive body. The headlight and front apron of the maxi-scooter now have an X-shaped design. Even the backlight is now shaped like an X.The hardware, on the other hand, hasn’t changed. It still has a single-cylinder engine with 27.6bhp and a CVT transmission. The front suspension is made up of telescopic forks, and the rear suspension is made up of two springs. Braking is done by a single disc at both ends.

Yamaha isn’t likely to bring the XMax 300 to India right now because it would be too expensive for our price-conscious market.
