Nashik Launches Voter Registration for Teachers’ MLC Elections

Nashik: The upcoming Nashik division Teachers constituency MLC elections have started their voter enrollment process. Radhakrishna Game, Nashik’s divisional commissioner and the returning officer for these elections, made this announcement. On Wednesday, he urged teachers to make sure they use Form 19 to register. This detail was highlighted during a meeting at the district collectorate, attended by officials including Ramesh Kale, Gyanoba Igwe, and Babasaheb Pardhe.

The election commission has introduced Form 19 for new registrations, replacing the old form. Teachers can collect and submit this form at tehsil offices, sub-divisional offices, the collector’s office, and the divisional commissioner’s office. For this, 118 officers are on duty. The previous election’s voter list won’t be valid for this one. This new Form 19 even has a space for the Aadhaar number, but it’s optional. Registrations are open from September 30 to November 6, 2023.
